The company's official records show five active licenses across those categories as of the latest update, though the roster flagged at least one as no longer active.
The deactivation occurs amid a broader wave of closures: 11 other Oregon cannabis operators had licenses inactivated on the same date, including Arcanna, Lochness Corral, Gas Station Genetics, Chubby Cat Cannabis, No Ka Oi Farms, Happy Healing Farms, Dank Bros LLC, Golden Jackal Farm, The Plant, Vashti Farm LLC, and Green Acers Farm LLC. The simultaneous batch suggests possible compliance deadlines or license renewal cycles rather than isolated business exits.
Oregon's recreational market remains robust, with 758 open retail and 1,353 active cultivation licenses statewide. The next indicator to watch is whether SugarTop Buddery's remaining licenses transition to inactive status or if reinstatement occurs, clarifying whether this represents a full operational shutdown or partial license management.
