Genesis Farms receives new retail license in South Dakota

The operator already holds five active medical cannabis cultivation licenses across Aberdeen, Brookings, Huron, Mitchell, and Pierre, signaling vertical integration into the retail channel.
The licensing event arrives amid notable churn in South Dakota's retail segment. State records show twelve dispensary licenses became inactive on August 6, including multiple Royzzz locations, Superior Buds, Dakota Health and Wellness, and others. South Dakota currently operates 52 active retail licenses alongside 30 cultivation and 14 manufacturing operations.
