The certification arrives as Morocco's legal market expands significantly. Recent reports indicate the country produced over 140 therapeutic cannabis products and logged 19,576 quintals of legal production in 2025, with the broader market valued at approximately $15 billion. Yet enforcement data reveals ongoing tension: authorities seized nearly 1.9 tons in two operations and dismantled three criminal networks in late July alone, underscoring competition from unlicensed producers.
