The approval arrived on Aug. 11 alongside licenses for three other manufacturing facilities—Auraz Lab and Landrace Hash Co.—plus two new cultivation operators, Hazy Hill Farm and Green Trap. A retail license for Koz We Can LLC also issued the same day.
Maine's manufacturing sector now counts 90 licensed operators, up from 89 prior to the batch approval. The state maintains 194 retail locations, 82 cultivation facilities, and 3 labs, with 73 applications still pending. Recent months have shown modest sales activity; state revenue figures for April and May averaged roughly $20 million across monthly reports.
The pace of licensing suggests steady market expansion, though the state continues to face enforcement challenges—including armed robbery at a licensed grow facility in July and ongoing concerns about illegal cultivation operations.
