Dumbo Electric joins at least 11 other New York cannabis operators losing licensure in early September.
FILE — closure · Ivan Radic / CC BY 2.0Dumbo Electric's license has been deactivated in New York, according to the state license roster. The operator held both an adult-use distributor license (OCM-DIST-25-000151) and an adult-use processor license (OCM-PROC-24-000079), both shown as active in official records prior to the deactivation.
The closure is part of a broader wave: at least 11 other cannabis licensees—including NYHO Labs, SunBaked Farm, Humble Hill Farm, Hudson Valley Canna, Island Grow, SKX, Ithaca Organics, TK Growers, Stop 29, Simply Gold, and Canna Cure Farms—lost active status between September 7 and 8. The reasons for the deactivations are not specified in the state roster.
New York's licensed cultivation base remains at 244 active operators. Watch whether the state regulator issues formal closure notices or enforcement guidance explaining the spike in deactivations.
