The New Mexico state license roster shows LOVES CANNABIS - SAN MATEO - RETAIL is no longer active, according to records updated September 12. The company maintains one other active retail license at the same San Mateo location, suggesting a potential duplicate-license cleanup rather than full closure.

The deactivation occurred alongside at least 11 other New Mexico retail license losses recorded the same day, including locations operated by Purlife Holdings, Vireo of Santa Fe, and Northern Farms. The cluster timing suggests a possible batch license review or administrative action by New Mexico regulators, though no formal enforcement announcement has been identified.

New Mexico's retail market remains substantial with 1,006 active dispensaries as of mid-September. Watch whether additional related Loves Cannabis or sister-company licenses are flagged in coming roster updates, and whether state regulators issue guidance on the cause of the simultaneous deactivations.
