FILE — closure · Ivan Radic / CC BY 2.0New York's state license roster flagged Real Life Botanicals as inactive on August 25, according to official records. The company held three adult-use licenses—a distributor (OCM-DIST-24-000049), cultivator (OCM-CULT-24-000091), and processor (OCM-PROC-24-000057)—all now showing inactive status.
The deactivation occurred alongside a broader wave of license changes across New York's market. On the same date, at least four other operators lost active status (Humble Hill Farm, Bison Botanics, Birdsong Hemp Company, pioneer plant tech), while three entities underwent ownership transfers and two new operators received retail and manufacturing licenses.
Real Life Botanicals' exit follows a period of significant consolidation in New York's supply chain. With 877 active retail locations, 249 cultivation sites, and 509 manufacturers currently licensed, the state continues processing 414 pending applications. The timing and cause of the deactivation remain unclear from roster data alone.
