Sharp County authorities arrested a Cave City-area man after a search warrant turned up marijuana plants and processing equipment at a home on Arkansas Highway 230, according to KATV, which cited a law enforcement release.

The Highway 230 Search

The Sharp County Sheriff's Office and Cave City Police Department responded September 15 to a 911 hang-up call traced to the area of 1800 Arkansas Highway 230, KATV reported. Officers said they spotted suspected marijuana plants growing outside a residence at 1831 Arkansas Highway 230, prompting deputies to seek a search warrant.

Executing that warrant, investigators reported finding four marijuana plants along with cultivation and processing equipment, as well as processed marijuana allegedly possessed in violation of state law, according to KATV's account of the release.

James Goldman, 43, was arrested and booked on one count of manufacturing marijuana more than four ounces but less than 25 pounds, KATV reported. No additional charges or court information were included in the release as reported.
