Superior Labs LLC processing license becomes inactive in Mississippi
A Mississippi processing facility license has been marked inactive, part of a broader churn in the state's medical cannabis operator roster.

The deactivation adds to a visible wave of operator transitions in Mississippi's medical market over the past two weeks, with at least five other licensed entities—including Dog Daze Farm, MS Mary, Collard Greens, and SweetGrass MS—also moving to inactive status during the same window.
Countering the closures, the state has issued new licenses to multiple operators across cultivation, retail, manufacturing, and testing segments since mid-August, suggesting ongoing market repositioning rather than wholesale contraction. Mississippi currently maintains 191 active retail locations, 107 cultivation operations, 41 manufacturing permits, and 2 testing labs.
The timing and pattern of these deactivations—clustered within days—warrants monitoring for potential regulatory compliance actions, voluntary exits, or license consolidations, though no official statement has accompanied the roster changes.
