Terpedo LLC microbusiness license deactivated in California
One of eight California cannabis operators lost licensure as of Aug. 29, part of a batch including retail, distribution, and cultivation closures.
FILE — closure · Ivan Radic / CC BY 2.0Terpedo LLC, a licensed microbusiness operator in California, is no longer active as of August 29, according to the state license roster. The deactivation marks one license loss among at least eight operators whose licenses expired or were otherwise terminated on the same date, spanning retail, distribution, cultivation, and manufacturing segments.
The closure cluster—which includes equity-retailer DOPE SUGAR, distributor Daema Distribution, and cultivator Crown Genetics—suggests routine license churn rather than a coordinated enforcement action. Against a backdrop of 1,262 open retail locations and 4,428 active cultivation licenses statewide, individual operator exits remain common in California's mature market.
Watch whether subsequent roster updates show the rate at which new licensees—including newly approved microbusiness Jackpot and delivery operator Mama Son—offset monthly closures.
