Trulieve Dunwoody has received an active medical cannabis dispensary license (DISP0021) in Georgia, according to state license records. The location joins 18 other open retail outlets in the state, which operates under a limited medical program. The opening appears timed as Georgia's medical registry continues to grow—prior reporting noted enrollment soaring and a 22% year-to-date increase in cardholders.

Georgia's retail footprint remains modest relative to cultivation and manufacturing capacity: six cultivation and six manufacturing operations now operate against 19 dispensaries. The timing also coincides with ongoing regulatory expansion, including recent July 2026 amendments broadening eligible conditions and adding vaping as a delivery method, as well as ongoing movement toward home delivery options.
