Death Row Records Cannabis is expanding into Nevada, according to Cannabis Business Times. The move adds another branded operator to Nevada's adult-use market, which currently hosts 106 retail locations and 106 cultivation licenses. The expansion comes as Nevada's cannabis sector faces persistent pressure: sales tax revenue dropped 9% year-over-year as of February 2026, with the illegal market cited as a significant headwind.

Nevada's regulatory environment has been in flux. The state recently implemented a public tracking system, appointed new leadership to the Cannabis Compliance Board, and adapted operations following federal marijuana reclassification in late 2025. At the local level, Nevada County is actively managing dispensary licensing and enforcement, having received a $4.5M Prop. 64 grant for cannabis compliance and environmental protection.
