OK Organix LLC license deactivated in Vermont amid wave of operator exits

The closure is part of a broader wave: at least nine cultivation, manufacturing, and retail licenses have been marked inactive since July 31, including Friendly Farmers, Birdseye Botanicals, and Stillmore Farms LLC.
The departures arrive as Vermont's regulated market remains relatively modest. The state lists 314 active cultivation licenses, 92 manufacturing operations, and 111 retail outlets as of August 1. Recent reporting noted Vermont cannabis prices run roughly double those in neighboring Massachusetts—a pricing gap that may reflect limited supply or operational constraints.
Vermont approved two new operators in late July (All Bliss Cannabis for cultivation and Rhize Cannabis Company for manufacturing), suggesting some turnover is expected in the nascent market.
