The move appears aimed at tightening oversight as the state's market—which generated record $135.1 million in May sales alone—continues expanding rapidly.

The enforcement push comes amid a robust regulatory environment. The state recently saw a microbusiness application window open in July, while ownership concentration concerns surfaced earlier this year when an Arkansas company was found tied to over a quarter of Missouri's 238 active dispensaries.
