La Mota Front Ave LLC license no longer active in Oregon
Recreational producer and retailer licenses deactivated as Oregon sees continued churn amid multiple simultaneous closures.
FILE — closure · Ivan Radic / CC BY 2.0La Mota Front Ave LLC's recreational producer and retailer licenses have been deactivated in Oregon, according to state license records updated August 27. The company held a producer license (020-10073765378) and a retailer license (050-10071949172), both marked active in the state's current roster.
The closure is part of a broader wave of Oregon license deactivations this week. State records show at least five other operators—High Tide NW LLC, ADNA, Top Hat Express, Klone Kings LLC, and AED LLC—have had licenses inactivated between August 23 and August 27, suggesting ongoing market pressure or compliance issues. Simultaneously, Oregon has licensed new entrants including HQFarms and Nectar as retailers, plus cultivation and manufacturing operators.
Oregon maintains 757 active retail and 1,348 active cultivation licenses across its adult-use market. Watch whether the pace of closures continues relative to new license approvals, and whether any enforcement actions clarify reasons for these deactivations.
